On Saturday, November 6th the OMLC welcomed the public to the return of our Soup Extravaganza. It was great to serve 5 delicious homemade soups, cornbread, and mac and cheese to several hundred hungry folks.
We give thanks to our sponsors listed in the photo (right) and to the incredibly energetic softball team, The Bomb Squad (above). These 13-to 15-year-olds helped us set up, stay filled up, and clean up. The Team travels to Utah, the Colorado Eastern slope, and Nevada for games. Their ages are 13 to 15 yrs old. Their coach, Shawn Montgomery, served in the military.
