Mother's Day is a special occasion allowing our Lions to honor and appreciate the incredible women in our lives who have shaped us into who we are today. This year, the Orchard Mesa Lions Club organized its 44th Annual Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast at the Mesa County Fairgrounds on May 14th. The event was filled with warmth, laughter, and a shared spirit of giving back.
Our Lions cooked a delightful spread of fluffy pancakes, savory sausages, steaming cups of coffee and milk, and perfectly cooked eggs – a wholesome meal that brought joy to everyone's taste buds.
One of the highlights was the popular cake raffle! Lions walked around selling tickets for a chance to win a delicious cake. We also arranged for talented balloon artists to be present, making whimsical creations like animals, hats, and swords for the kids.
We were fortunate to have the generous sponsorship of several local businesses for this event. Their support played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the breakfast and the club's ongoing service projects. The 44th annual sponsors included Orchard Mesa True Value, Fruita True Value, Peachtree True Value, Grand Junction True Value, Grand Junction Chrysler, Bank of Colorado, Humphrey RV, FCI Constructors, ANB Bank, Michael S. The 44th Annual Orchard Mesa Lions Club Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast was a tremendous success, filled with laughter, delicious food, and a strong sense of community.
